On July 21-28 in Batumi will be held Open Chess Festival “Batumi-2021” under 8,10,12,14 and 20 years old boys and girls.
The festival will be held at the former chess palace “Kaisa”.
System and qualification:
Each age category of the festival will be held according to FIDE rules, swiss or circular system in 7 rounds. Under the age of 20, the FIDE rating will be calculated.
Time control: 60 minutes before the end of the game, with an additional 30 seconds for each move.

Tournament fee for each participant is 40 GEL. After expire of registration date till start of the tournament – 50 GEL.

Prizes:
- The first five boys and girls who win in all age categories will be awarded with diplomas and prizes of the appropriate quality by the Adjara Chess Federation and the Department of Sports;
- The top three also – with a medal;
- Champions also – with a cup;
- The winner of the Under-20 rating tournament will be additionally awarded with a special prize named the founder of the tournament, Honored Sports Figure of Georgia Ketevan Mukhasharia;
- The tournament will be allocated one of the best boys and girls under 16 and under 18;
